Checked Red Cross Nursing Costume for Alex, Brenda and Tyler Dolls

The local Red Cross needed a model for historical photos . . . and asked Gene but unfortunately, she was tied up with rehearsals for "Beauty and the Beast". Gene did convince Regina to help with the photo sessions featuring this late 1800's Gown with Red Cross Nursing Apron. The result was striking in the woven blue and white checked dress with its bodice tucks, long sleeves and dainty navy trim. The Red Cross apron tied beautifully around her waist. Regina wore a red satin bow over her chignon for a lovely complete look. Underneath her full skirt is an attached white petticoat and matching pantaloons. (Click HERE to see them modeled by Violet.) Both pieces are trimmed with dainty tucks and laces.
