Tuesday 2/21 Mel Odom (creator of Gene) was interviewed resulting in the following tid-bits!
* Q: Will previous characters (Trent, Madra & Violet) make a comeback too?
A: Initally there will only be Gene - others may come later
* Q: What era will Gene represent?
A: Gene will still have fashions from the 40's into the 60's
* Q: Will Gene still be a movie star or will she move to Broadway?
A: Gene's main role is still as a movie star however between movies she might perform on Broadway or perhaps TV
* Q: Will Gene continue to have story lines/cards?
A: Yes . . . I (Mel) will still be involved with writing the stories but Alain Tremblay of Integrity Toys will have full reign to come up with new and entertaining ways to present the material. Expect the unexpected.
* Q: With Gene's new sculpt, will her previous clothing line still fit?
A: All of Gene's clothes will still fit.
* Q: The teaser photo shows Gene's arm sweeping across her face. Will she have more articulation . . .
A: Gene will have more with articulated wrists and expanded head movement
* Q: Will the first Gene offered by Jason Wu/Integrity be the final version?
A: There will never be a "final version" of Gene
* Q: Are there plans for Gene to get more accessories and furniture? a car?
A: At present there are no immediate plans for furniture and other accessories. This is the very beginning of "Gene DeLuxe" and these things will be considered in the future.
