Basil St. John is the perfect Romeo to our heroine, Brenda Starr®. He is shown here with his brunette hair and signature eyepatch. He comes dressed in a white undershirt, striped undershorts, socks with braces (remember this is the '30's and '40's before elastic!)and black wingtips.

Basil St. John® is a 16.5 inch vinyl/ hard plastic doll with jointed arms and legs, an exceptional wardrobe, painted eyes and rooted saran hair. Doll bodies are compatible with Tonner Doll Company's Matt O'Neill® style bodies and can share clothing.

Brenda’s life took a fateful turn on September 16, 1945 when she dreamed of a tall, dark, handsome stranger attired in a black cape and wearing a black patch over one of his eyes.
